INVESTITURE CEREMONY- AMITY SCHOOL, BHARUCH
AMITY
SCHOOL BHARUCH accomplishes the investiture ceremony of student’s council
To command is to serve, nothing more
and nothing less. —Andre Malraux.
The Investiture Ceremony of Amity School for the academic session 2018-2019 was held with great splendour and dignity in a special ceremony at the school auditorium. To increase docility, responsibility and self confidence, students of Amity School are provided with a variety of activities. As a part of this, to inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body every year selection among the four houses- LOTUS, PEACOCK, HOCKEY and SITAR takes place. The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant beginning of the New Year. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to put on the leadership and the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. The whole process is carried out in an organized manner where in the students first have to give a written application followed by their involvement in the activities taking place in and out of the campus, appearing for the G.K test ending with a personal interview. The student council took the oath to abide by the school rules and hold the school dictum in high esteem.
The Students Council induction is a memorable
day for all, a proud moment to stand as leaders before their fellow mates. The
school commences the year with pomp and aura of the Investiture Ceremony of the
Student’s Council. The members of the council don on smart, formal apparel, who
introduce themselves to shoulder their responsibilities.

JADHAV and SHUBH H. PATEL from Guj.Med, NUPOOR V. SONI and UVESH H. DARBAR from
Eng.Med and PAULIN SAINI and SAMARTH D. MEHTA from CBSE have been chosen as the
head girls and head boys who will lead the new students council. With great
pride and sense of conscientiousness, the students listened to the inspiring
speech given by our Chief Guest. He congratulated the newly elected Prefectorial
body and appreciated the outgoing team for their job done brilliantly. He
encouraged the new School leaders to lead with integrity and commitment. He
emphasised the role of the School prefects in a student centered school and also
advised them on the importance of team work and the mission. He urged the
‘young leaders’ to uphold the values of the school and discharge their duties
honestly and impartially.
It
was indeed a proud moment for the entire School!
