REMINISCING OUR PLEDGE
The school organized a
series of activities on this occasion, which was attended by approximately 3000
students and their parents. They witnessed an impressive demonstration of
Malkhamb, Yoga, Pyramid and Zumba which reflected the dignity and glory of the students by
working together. Amidst all
of this the dedicated educators of Amity School, Prakash Mehta and Bipin
Bavanbadshah who have given their immense contribution since last 25 years were
felicitated and hounoured for their relentless and committed services.
Ex-Amitians also equally showered their love by presenting bouquets, cards,
etc. to their beloved teachers.
Mr. Kirti Gandhi, Mr.Pinakin Patel, Mr.Navneet
Patel along with the non-teaching staff Amarsinh Vasava, Ratanben Rathore and
Savitaben Solanki were recognized for
their gigantic hardwork and perseverance towards the school fraternity for last
15 years.
Students who have achieved excellence in
academics as well as sports were also awarded and encouraged for their future
endeavors. Name of the students are, Khushi Marwadi (Std X), Miheel Parmar (Std
XII), Vatsal Patel (Std XII), Zeel Mehta (Std XII), Henisha Patel (Std XII),
Niyati Patel (Std XII), Krupa Rana (Std XII)
Along with it the unveiling of the book “CHAL
GURU SELFIE LE LE RE” authored by our Managing Trustee Mr. Ranchhod Shah.
In her address, the Chief Guest Dr. Minal Dave
saluted the efforts of the national leaders in building an independent,
republic nation and recalled various anecdotes related to her teaching days. She
applauded the work of the teaching fraternity, emphasizing the need to develop
strong moral values among children. She spoke about the felicitation ceremony in
her speech, where she quoted “Ek achchi imarat banana ke liye kuch paki pakai
inton ko neev me rakhna padta hai aise hi is duniya ko ahcha bananae ke liye
kuch logo ko neev me bas jana hota hai” she reiterate the importance of edification
and the role of educators in shaping the young minds, set them up to lead the
country towards progress.
The day was celebrated with great fervor,
solemnity and grandeur.
